Cornerstone Dairy Academy for Dairy Professionals Scheduled for March 16-17, 2021
Application Deadline for Three-Track Leadership Development Program is January 31, 2021

DAIRY NEWS – Dairy producers and members of allied industry who are interested in building their leadership and professional development skills are encouraged to apply for the 2021 Cornerstone Dairy Academy™, presented by the Professional Dairy Producers® (PDPW). The three-track leadership development program is scheduled for Mar. 16-17, 2021, at the Kalahari Resort, Wisconsin Dells, Wis.

Small steps can lead to big results when building leadership skills for success in today’s dairy industry. The PDPW Cornerstone Dairy Academy brings together leading experts to share their experiences and expertise in communications, leadership and people-development.

Three learning pillars will be held simultaneously during the first day.  Participants select one pillar:

  • Pillar 1: Influential Leaders
During this pillar, you will discover your behavior type, understand generational differences and communication methods, master first impressions with confidence while modeling thankfulness and gratitude. This training is facilitated by Trevina Broussard, talent solutions consultant and trainer at Frontline Success Training and Consulting; Liz Bockman of Everyday Etiquette; and Hank Wagner, founder of Wagner Leadership Training.
  • Pillar 2: Visionary Leaders
Attendees will observe global trends to discover opportunities, plan strategically and learn efficient use of economic indicator tools, and learn how to make ethical decisions with integrity. Facilitators include Dr. Richard Kyte, Endowed Professor at Viterbo University and Dr. David Kohl, Professor Emeritus at Virginia Tech.
  • Pillar 3: Servant Leaders
Servant leaders will learn the value of organizational focus when working as a team, the power of hospitality and customer service, and the blessings of a positive, productive work culture. This session is facilitated by Tom Thibodeau, Distinguished Professor of Servant Leadership at Viterbo University.

On day two, participants will put their newly honed skills to work at the 2021 PDPW Business Conference, with opportunities to network with key industry influencers and experts from around the globe, explore the latest technologies, and learn about the newest dairy industry research alongside fellow dairy professionals.

The PDPW Cornerstone Dairy Academy training is application-based program. Applications are due by Jan. 31, 2021 and available here. Contact PDPW at 1-800-947-7379 with questions.
