STRIDE Youth Leadership Conference Registration Deadline Nears
Leadership workshop for high school students set for Nov. 12 at UW-River Falls
DAIRY NEWS – A full day of interactive workshops, hands-on lab experiences and agricultural-career exploration is in store for high school students at the 2025 STRIDE™ Youth Leadership Conference, presented by Professional Dairy Producers® (PDP).
Students should register by Sunday, November 2, for the Wednesday, November 12 program to be held at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Program check-in begins at 9:00 a.m. and the conference concludes at 6:15 p.m. Program materials, meals and a STRIDE T-shirt are included in registration.
The interactive program is designed for students ages 15 to 18 and qualifies for an “above the chapter level” activity for FFA members pursuing state and American degrees.
Michael Hoffman, founder and owner of Igniting Performance, Inc., will bring his high-energy style to lead a session that will help students:
Faculty and graduate students at UW-River Falls will lead three immersive programs for students to:
Upon registration, a health form and waiver will be sent to a parent/guardian for a signature. This signed waiver is required for each student. Students will be chaperoned at all times.

- Boost confidence to communicate in any situation
- Think on their feet to answer questions with authority
- Build leadership skills that will last far beyond their school years
Faculty and graduate students at UW-River Falls will lead three immersive programs for students to:
- Conduct a nose-to-tail diagnostic evaluation of a calf
- Tour the university campus and learn about student programs
- Meet agriculture industry professionals to learn about such careers as teaching, welding, veterinary care, trucking, production agriculture and more.
