Policy Makers, Leaders Look Ahead for Dairy Innovations at Dec. 11 program

DAIRY NEWSEvolving consumer demands, breakthroughs in product and technology innovations, and economic pressures all combine to make dairy one of the fastest-changing industries in the world. The future of the dairy industry depends on its response to today’s challenges and opportunities.

The PDP Dairy Insights Summit, presented by Professional Dairy Producers® (PDP), will bring together thought leaders and trailblazers to connect the dots and help dairy industry stakeholders chart a path forward for lasting relevance and growth.

The program will be held on Thurs., Dec. 11 at the Madison Marriott South in Madison, Wis. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m.; the summit runs from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Dairy producers, industry professionals, processors, policy makers, educators and other key leaders are all invited to participate in a day of learning and strategizing.

Workshop sessions will include:
  • Dairy unbound: reimagining what’s next
Led by Charlie Arnot, CEO of the Center for Food Integrity, and Kevin Ryan, founder and CEO of Malachite Strategy and Research. They will outline the impact of consumers’ shifting expectations for transparency, responsibility and innovation on the dairy industry, and discuss strategies to meet new demands.

  • Technology in action: lessons from dairy’s past and future
This panel discussion with industry experts, moderated by Charlie Arnot, will lead a deep dive into two case studies of dairy industry innovations that saw very different long-term outcomes. The session will explore the lessons learned regarding new product advancements.

  • Show me the money
