DAIRY NEWS – Sharing ideas, systems and technologies that will create margin-focused strategies in today’s farm operations are the goals of the PDPW Wisconsin Dairy Tours hosted by Professional Dairy Producers® (PDPW) on Tuesday, July 17.
Designed for dairy farmers and fellow allied industry, the group will tour two northwestern Wisconsin dairy farms, including Son-Bow Farms of Spring Valley, Wis. and Alfalawn Farm of Menomonie, Wis. Led by Dave Becker, founding partner in Dairy Business Consulting Group and Steve Bodart, senior dairy consultant with Compeer Financial, the Tours will include an in-depth roundtable discussion with owners and managers from the host dairies and their consultants.
All tour participants will ride on a chartered bus to allow for additional discussions and interaction. The bus will depart from and return to two locations:
The PDPW Wisconsin Dairy Tour is an accredited training and offers up to 3.75 Dairy AdvanCE continuing education units (CEUs). To learn more or secure credits, visit www.DairyAdvance.org.
Professional Dairy Producers (PDPW) is the nation's largest dairy producer-led organization of its kind, focusing on producer professionalism, stakeholder engagement and unified outreach to share ideas, solutions, resources and experiences that help dairy producers succeed.
