Managing carbon starts with understanding the terms, concepts and opportunities, and PDPW's Carbon Conference is tackling this toilsome topic on January 31, 2023, at the Sheraton Hotel in Madison, Wis. from 9:30 am - 4:45 pm. Designed to help stakeholders understand and standardize the discussion in a factual, productive manner, the program will equip attendees to apply the information directly to their business and systemize plans for capturing short- and long-term opportunities. This one-day event will draw together dairy owners, agricultural professionals, researchers and others interested in the environmental discussion.

PDPW's Carbon Conference will take on this hot topic and provide participants with a well-rounded understanding of carbon markets and the options available for their farms.

Participants can look forward to hearing from five industry experts throughout the day including, Patrick Wood who will dive into the different types of carbon offsets and credits, as well as the financial return and risks. Katie Catron will share how to evaluate what data contributes to your carbon footprint and practices that may help reduce their impact. Finally, panel members Jamie MacKinnon, Ryan Stockwell and Nate Schuster will discuss and provide examples of what options are available, credit and incentive types and much more.
