Description

Ramp up your calf care expertise at the PDP Calf Care Connection® training. This workshop will be taught in English with simultaneous Spanish translation for the industry's top calf care managers and other experts looking to grow their skillset by learning from world-class trainers in a hands-on setting. These workshops will repeat in two locations on Oct. 22 and 23, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. in Arlington and Green Bay, Wis.

Dr. Catie Cramer will open the day with a general session on giving calves the best start. Since transportation is often one of the greatest stressors for young calves, she’ll share practical strategies to make the journey easier and support stronger health outcomes afterward.

During this program, participants will also get hands-on experience during the breakout sessions, including calf necropsies to better understand how stress and management decisions impact the youngest members of our herd. Dr. Frank Garry, DVM, Dr. Catie Cramer, PhD, and Dr. Ryan Breuer, DVM, DACVIM-LAIM will provide actionable insight on how to respond to and reduce stress releated challenges on the farm.
