2026 Hoof Management Workshop
The 2026 PDP Hoof Health Workshop will take place June 16 and 18, 2026, at ADK North in Plattsburgh, New York, and Miltrim Farms Inc, in Athens, Wisconsin, respectively.

Description

The 2026 PDP Hoof Health Workshop will take place June 16 and 18, 2026, at ADK North in Plattsburgh, New York, and Miltrim Farms Inc in Athens, Wisconsin, respectively.

The hands-on workshop will begin at 9:30 am and conclude at 3:45pm, with the host dairy serving as an interactive case study.

Lameness is one of the leading causes of lost milk production and premature culling, making proactive hoof management essential. This is a must-attend for your hoof trimmer, herdsperson, veterinarian, nutritionist and dairy cow managers.

Attendees will learn practical strategies to:
  • Identify environmental and management risk factors 
  • Use hoof health records to uncover trends and guide decisions 
  • Strengthen prevention and treatment protocols for chronic cows 
  • Connect hoof health to labor efficiency, cow comfort and profitability 

Simultaneous Spanish translation will be offered for this program.
