Lately, it seems everything has gone from bad to worse. Milk prices have plummeted with some farmers having to return milk to the field, and on top of it all, livestock processing plants have started to shut down. With so much uncertainty and worry, how do you keep going and why? For many, it is because of hope for the future and what good may be yet to come.

Tom Thibodeau is a Distinguished Professor of Servant Leadership at Viterbo University and has been a faculty member since 1983. He is a recipient of Viterbo's Teacher of the Year award.
