Description

Are there natural-born leaders, or do each of us have to learn the craft of effective leadership? We first learn about leadership at a young age in our families, then we learn from other community members, and finally our bosses and supervisors. This week, Tom Thibodeau is diving into how leaders are made by asking us two important questions: 1) how are we bringing in the next generation of leaders, and 2) who is shaping our goals?

Tom Thibodeau is a Distinguished Professor of Servant Leadership at Viterbo University and has been a faculty member since 1983. He is a recipient of Viterbo's Teacher of the Year award. "It is a privilege and a gift to be able to teach," says Tom; his "Servant Leadership" and "Leading by Serving" classes are among the most popular at the University, which features the country's only Masters of Servant Leadership Program.
