Dairy Insights Summit: Hear from Innovative Food System Leaders
Think beyond tomorrow with fellow dairy farmers, industry leaders and others on Dec. 11
 
DAIRY NEWS – Leaders in the dairy sector recognize the need to regularly reinvent their practices and mindsets to stay ahead of industry changes. PDP Dairy Insights Summit, presented by Professional Dairy Producers® (PDP), is designed to help develop innovative approaches to equip producers, processors and other industry stakeholders with tools for success. Set for Thurs., Dec. 11, in Madison, Wis., the program will focus on sharing insights and generating ideas that benefit dairy producers, processors, consumers and more.
 
Speakers at the event represent a range of leaders with expertise in economics, animal science, food and retail industries and consumer insights:
 

• Charlie Arnot, is CEO of the Center for Food Integrity, an international non-profit organization dedicated to building consumer trust and confidence in today’s food system. He brings more than 25 years of experience in food and agriculture. A highly regarded writer, Arnot is regularly called on to speak to audiences around the globe.

 

• Kevin Ryan is founder and CEO of Malachite Strategy and Research with nearly 20 years of experience at General Mills and Amazon. With a unique combination of expertise in food science, anthropology and strategic planning, his consultancy specializes in innovation and strategy for food, beverage and retail industries. He is the host of the “3 Squares” podcast and authors the “FoodStuff” newsletter.

 

• Charlie Benz brings experiences with a variety of groundbreaking solutions, including reduced tillage/no-till practices and Roundup^®, cow comfort and nutrition with Posilac^®, flea, tick and heartworm prevention with Frontline^® and Heartgard^®, timed AI with GONAbreed^® and more.  He and his wife currently own and operate Real Property Management Alliances.

 

• Dr. Ed Seifried, PhD, professor emeritus of Economics and Business at Lafayette College, is an executive consultant, dean of the Virginia and West Virgina Banking Schools, faculty member for the Southwest Graduate School of Banking (SWGSB) and SWGSB chief economist. He is author of “The Art of Strategic Planning for Community Banks” and has delivered more than 3,500 economic presentations to groups in the U.S. and around the world.

 
The program will be held at the Madison Marriott South in Madison, Wis.
