Nov. 29 program to address geopolitics, water, food security and safety, more
DAIRY NEWS – Top experts with experience in some of the most pressing challenges facing the future of dairy and food production will share their insights with industry professionals, farmers, educators, policy makers and regulators at the 2022 PDPW Dairy Insights Summit presented by Professional Dairy Producers® (PDPW). Attendees will explore topics impacting today’s food system, including the role of deglobalization and world events, the quantity and quality of our water supply, and the safety of our food system and infrastructure. In addition, labor and human-safety issues faced by Wisconsin’s potato industry will be highlighted to preemptively equip the dairy sector and share lessons learned.
The 2022 PDPW Dairy Insights Summit will be held Tues., Nov. 29, 2022, at the Sheraton Hotel in Madison, Wis. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. with sessions running until 4:45 p.m.
“When faced with a heavy agenda like what we face in today’s dairy and agriculture industries, being prepared is the answer,” said Cassandra Strupp, PDPW program manager. “We can make informed decisions when you have the right information, and the Dairy Insights Summit brings together all the experts in the same room — from FBI special agents to scientists, economists and our very own industry leaders—to share their ideas, insights, research and learnings.”
