Carbon markets, managing input costs, regenerative practices spotlighted in sessions
DAIRY NEWS – More efficiently producing high-quality milk while also improving nutrient management, water quality and soil-health practices are critical to dairy’s future success. The 2022 Business Conference presented by the Professional Dairy Producers® (PDPW) will feature a variety of sessions to equip attendees with information on managing resources across the farming operation.
Scheduled for March 16-17 at the Kalahari Resorts in Wisconsin Dells, Wis. PDPW Business Conference has a full agenda of world-class presenters and variety of topics in nearly 60 keynote, break-out, hands-on and other sessions designed for all members of dairy teams, including sessions simultaneously translated into Spanish.
Sessions focused on building farm and business sustainability include:

  • Digging regenerative ag,” this day 1 breakout session will be presented by a panel of leading dairy producers committed to regenerative-ag practices on their farms to increase biodiversity, improve soil health and protect water while supporting high-yielding livestock and growing businesses. They’ll share perspectives on the colossal implications of weather patterns and supply-chain issues that are sure to impact consumer choices, market and business trends in the short and long term.
  • Globally sustainable milk production,” is a day 2 breakout session that will feature a panel of global experts examining current milk production levels around the world.
