Maple Syrup Producers to Hold Winter InstituteWisconsin Ag Connection - December 07, 2017
The Wisconsin Maple Syrup Producers Association is holding its annual winter institute next month to update members and producers about new trends and issues facing their industry. The two-day forum is being planned for January 12-13 at the Plaza Hotel & Suites in Wausau
The main speaker will be Yves Bois from Centre ACER, who will talk about the Maple Trends of the 21st Century. Bradley Gillian and Corey Grape from Leader Evaporator will also hold a session on marketing. And the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture will send a representative to discuss maple regulations, licensing and inspections.
A trade show, award presentations and the Maple Queen Coronation will also be held during the conference.
The cost to attend is $40 for WMSPA members, $65 for non-members, and $15 for students.
