PDPW World Class Webinar Series to Highlight Crops and Markets

DAIRY NEWS – The Professional Dairy Producers® (PDPW) is pleased to present their next World Class Webinar Series “U.S. and World Impact of 2016’s Crops and Markets”. In this webinar series, well known Economist Daniel Basse will share his deep understanding of agriculture price trends and commodity markets to assist participants in sorting through agriculture numbers, trends and forecasts. The first webinar is scheduled for Wednesday, September 21 and the second is on Wednesday, October 12. Both run from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. CDT.

During the first webinar titled, “2017 Commodity Crop Trends”, Basse will discuss the most recent crop growing season and its impact on domestic and global supplies. He will also highlight 2017 projections for forage, corn and protein prices. In the second webinar, “Global Markets: The Impact”, Basse will shed light on the current state of world dairy markets and how they will affect the U.S. and markets around the globe.

Basse brings a wealth of knowledge regarding market trends having been in the commodity business since 1979 and currently serving as the President of AgResource Company, a domestic and international agriculture research firm in Chicago. AgResource provides their research to various sectors of the industry including farmers, elevators, soy, corn, wheat processors and millers, food and trading companies, meat packers, and importers and exporters throughout the world.

Both webinars mentioned above are open to all interested in the impact of commodity market trends both domestically and globally, including dairy farmers, managers and CEOs, industry professionals and beyond.
